• development of academic freedoms and competitive environment in the system of school education through the expansion of school autonomy and the financing of schooling based on the number of students in the school;
• integration of the Ukrainian and American systems of preschool and school education through the involvement of Ukrainian students in the programs of international cultural and linguistic exchange in the United States and the parallel study of Ukrainian students in Ukrainian and American schools with simultaneous gaining of Ukrainian and American school diplomas, professional and advanced placement courses certificates;
• support in development in Ukraine of a network of kindergartens with an extensive learning of the English language and American culture, and a network of schools based on dual diploma programs and international exchange training;
• automation of a dialogue between specialists in the field of education and academic activity through online conferences and publications;
• assistance for Ukrainian educational and academic institutions in the adaptation and implementation of their business projects in the US and, conversely, for American educational and academic institutions - in Ukraine;
Mission
The Foundation for Academic and Educational Innovation was founded in August 2017 as a non-profit organization to mobilize national and international resources to support the reform and development of the academic and educational spheres in Ukraine.
Ukraine is a country with highly developed cultural, intellectual, scientific and educational potential in different fields of knowledge, including high-tech. At the same time, the country passes a period of systemic crisis caused by the legacy of the Soviet past, total corruption and foreign military aggression. The archaic nature of the country's political and economic systems placed the academic and educational spheres in depression and degeneration. The best specialists and scientists leave or plan to leave the country, depriving Ukraine of intellectual resources. Our task is to offer such programs to the Ukrainian society, which will allow the mobilization of the progressive public and revival of the untold creative and educational potential in order to bring the country to the forefront of educational and innovative progress. In particular, as our priorities we define activities in the following directions:
• facilitating for advanced Ukrainian schools and authors of advanced Ukrainian educational methods in their promotion in the US educational market, including in the opening of Ukrainian schools in the United States;
• initiation of research, development and creation of a global school of the future involving scientists and activists from Ukraine and the United States, as well as from other developed countries of the world;
• facilitating other academic research and development that, both directly and indirectly, will create a favorable environment and conditions for the implementation of vital educational innovations;
• popularization of ideas of academic and educational innovations with the use of mass media, conferences, round tables, presentations and other means of promotion;
• support for political initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of people through political reforms, changing the quality and effectiveness of academic and educational activities.
Along with the stated goals and objectives, the Foundation for Academic and Educational Innovation declares its openness to consideration of any other relevant proposals and initiatives in the designated direction from the side of governmental, international, academic, educational, private and public organizations and enterprises.
